Mira Glinz was still a little girl, when she was skating through the "Marais" in Paris, when she luckily was allowed to visit Azzedine Alaia's home and atelier. She was so deeply impressed by his genius and amazed by the beauty of his creations that she promised to become a designer herself. After finishing her A-levels in England, she went studying in Haute Couture Houses to learn the trade of tailoring in Hamburg, Moscow, Düsseldorf and Paris.

2004 she started at Esmod Fashion School in Berlin, finished 2007 and went to London, where she took classes at Central St. Martin College of Art and Design. She worked for the young label Kisa and joined the start up from Cooperdesign (Knitwear), where she realized objects for Hussein Chalayan amongst others.

This last experience inspired her finally to come back to her very first dream, so she decided to produce knitwear by herself.

In July 2008 she found her own company in England and went to Hong Kong where she developed her knitwear label.

Encouraged by the ambience of Victoria Harbour Mira designed her first collection for SK–MIR–AGE.

With energy and passion she realizes her creative ideas with a professional backup team in Germany, China and Mongolia. This enables her to present you a very special high quality cashmere and silk collection fall/winter 2009.
